The Levelland Lobo Band Boosters will be holding their regular meeting Tuesday, February 4, at 7PM in the High School Band Hall. The agenda includes a review of the organization’s constitution and bylaws.
The Constitution and Bylaws of the Levelland Lobo Band Boosters is an all but forgotten document that should govern the Lobo Band Boosters. However, the document has not been consulted nor attended to in several years. The most recent amendments were made in 1999, making the review process long overdue.
Having recently located a copy of the document and finding that the current booster club structure has strayed from said constitution, the Lobo Band Booster officers invite all interested parties to attend the meeting on February 4, to review the Constitution and Bylaws and make decisions on how the booster club will be governed in coming years. Interested parties may include parents, family members, and friends of Levelland ISD band students, past band boosters, members and officers of other successful booster clubs, and members of the community with experience with non-profit governance or organizational success.
The Levelland Lobo Band Booster officers want to thank the community in advance for their contributions and shared experiences as we all work to build a better organization for the children and the future.
