Funeral services held for Dallas Ray Toney

Funeral services for Dallas Ray Toney, 92, of Levelland, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home of Levelland.

He passed away October 28, 2022.

Ray was born December 20, 1929, to G.C. and Blanche Toney, in Clayton, New Mexico.

He served in the United States Army from 1949 to 1950 and was part of the Atomic Energy Commission.

From 1964 to 1994, Ray worked for Southwestern Public Service as a lineman and general foreman.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Levelland.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Gayla Teeters; and three brothers: Clyde Toney, Don Toney and Jimmy Toney.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Peggy Toney; son, Dallas Ray (Kim) Toney of Denver City; daughter, Rhonda (Hugh) Bradley of Levelland; four grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; and two greatgreat- grandchildren.
