Funeral services for Pablo Chato Torres, Jr., 75, of Levelland, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, at Park Drive Baptist Church of Levelland, with Brother Gil Ramirez and assistant Brother Noah officiating. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, September and from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, September 8, at HeadDuarteFuneralHomeChapel of Levelland. He passed away September 5, 2022, in Levelland. Pablo was born October 1,1946, to Pablo, Sr. and Lucia Torres, in Robstown, Texas. He married Rosalinda Castillo November 28, 1965, in Floydada and they had seven children from this union. Pablo worked for John Blew Farms and as a cotton ginner for many years in Levelland. He attended church at Park Drive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his spouse of 56 years, Rosalinda C. Torres; a daughter, Betty Ann Torres; two brothers, Bonifacio Torres and Lupe Torres; and one sister, Antonia Guzman. He is survived by his sons: Pablo (Maribelle) Torres III, Jack (Staci) Torres, Randy (Ashley) Torres and Jason (Karen) Torres, all four of Levelland; daughters: Margarita (Victor) Escobar and JoaAnn (Gary) Grant, both of Levelland; sister, Claudina Prieta Castro of Seguin; 20 grandchildren; and 24 greatgrandchildren.
