FRANKIE POND
Frankie Sue Spears Pond, 85, of Silsbee, died Thursday, July 23, 2026. She was born on February 10, 1941, in Lubbock, to Edith Corrine Henderson Spears and Arlie Richard Spears.
Frankie loved sewing, quilting, fishing, and her print shop. She loved to sew her bears and all the stuff for CASA. She loved to play 42 and her Nintendo when they were cool! Her faith is a testament and inspiration to us all. While our hearts are broken, we rejoice knowing that she is exactly where she wants to be.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin (Renee) Pond and Greg Pond; grandchildren, Candace (Ricky) Swice, Ryan (Ana) Pond, Kendra (Sam) Cavalier, Jeri Pond; and Charity (Kent) Riley; great-grandchildren, Landyn, Laney (Chase), Jacen, Jaxxon, Caleb, Brena, Mateu, Allannah, Ethan, Ariel and Alina; siblings, Jack (Linda) Spears, Geneva Spears; and B.J. (Garland) Sandhop; daughter-in-law, Della (James) Nolen; along with a host of family and friends that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry W. Pond; and brothers, Loy Lee Spears, Arnold Spears, and Elton “Bugs’ Spears.
A gathering of Mrs. Pond’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., July 31, 2026, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
