Levelland basketball coaches , Nathan Riggan and Mark Elbert-Rios share the Levelland Loboette varsity basketball was well represented during district play this year and that they earned many all-district accolades earlier this week.
District MVP was sophomore guard Leilani Sanchez.
Co-Defensive MVP was junior guard Carly Tienda, Offensive MVP was sophomore guard Emery Smith.
First Team All-District was senior forward Laci White.
First Team All-District was junior guard Olivia Velardez.
Second Team All- District was freshman forward Destynii Jones.
Academic All-District honors were earned by junior guard Carly Tienda, junior guard Angelica Gonzalez, senior center Ellie Phillips, senior guard Adrenna Galvan, junior guard Maddison Stafford, and senior forward Laci White.
“What a ride! I always tell the kids that individual honors do not happen without winning games. When multiple players receive honors, you know your team had a great year,” said Barnett.
I’m proud of all our Loboettes for their hard work in our program,” explained the coach.
