Several Ropes Eagles were named to the UIL Region I, District 4 All-District Football Team.
Ropes finished their season at third place in district with a 4-7 overall record and 3-2 in district.
In addition, several Eagles were also named academic alldistrict.
Junior Reese Williams was named first team kicker. Junior Branson Beck was first team defensive back.
Sophomore Hayden Torres was first team defensive utility.
Freshman quarterback Kade Franklin, receivers Beck and sophomore Mason Marmolejo and sophomore offensive lineman Mike Sanchez made second team all-district offense.
Senior defensive lineman T.J. Garcia and linebackers Sanchez and senior Joshua Sexton made the second team all-district defense.
Sexton, junior Braxxin Partington, Sophomore Reid McCaleb, Ben Salvider, and junior Dalek Wyatt were named honorable mention.
The following Eagles were named to the academic all-district team.
Seniors Tuner Becton, Logan Delgado, Sexton, Kenzie Cohan, Ella Hester, Lacey Turpin, juniors Evan Sullivan, Brody Mortoneson, Reed Hyatt, Partington, Saldiver, Stetson Wims, Wyatt, sophomores McCaleb, Colton Mortensen, Sanchez, Koby Sullivan, Williams, freshmen Franklin and Broxton Varnell.
