The Whitharral Panthers hosted the Anton Bulldogs for district play in basketball where they won 71-40. From the jump the game was all Whitharral as they were able to outscore the Bulldogs 21-12 and take the big nine point lead going into the second quarter.

The Smyer Lady Cats took on the Floydada Lady Whirlwinds this past Tuesday where they lost in district basketball play 70-37. The first quarter of the game started off with Smyer taking a small lead as they got off to a great start and outscoring the Lady Whirlwinds 18-16.

The Morton Indians took on the Meadow Broncos this past Tuesday as the visiting team where they won 61-15.

Maidens end district with loss

The Morton Maidens took on the Meadow Lady Broncos this past Tuesday for the team’s last district game of the season as the visiting team where they lost 55-35.

Ropes falls to Plains in district play

The Ropes Eagles took on the Plains Cowboys this past Tuesday as the visiting team where they lost 75-60 in district basketball play. The first quarter started off with both team’s keeping up with each other as both had 16 points at the end of the first.

The Levelland Loboetttes faced off against the Sweetwater Lady Mustangs this past Tuesday at home in district play for basketball where the team won 52-17.

Lobos survive Mustangs

The Levelland Lobos took on the Sweetwater Mustangs this past Tuesday at home for district play in basketball where the team won 63-61 in a thriller. The first quarter was close as neither team was pulling away and both were keeping up with teach other going blow for blow.
