Falling For the Wallace Festival kicks off Saturday

The 3rd Annual Falling for the Wallace- Fall Festival will kick off this Saturday in downtown Levelland to celebrate community and bring people together— and this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The event kicks off with the Community Parade at 3 p.m. co-hosted by Levelland Main Street and the Wallace Theater. Parade entry forms can be found at wallacetheater.com.

From 4 to 8 p.m., Falling for the Wallace Festival will feature a vibrant hub of activi-ty with shopping, live music, art displays, delicious food, and fun activities for the whole family, including kids zone games, a bounce house and Pumpkin Patch and face painting.

Events and performances will include Leon Strong Sports Academy at 4 p.m.; Adamas School of Dance at 5 p.m.; SPC music at 6 p.m.; and Levelland’s Got Talent at 7:30 p.m.

The Levelland’s Got Talent, sponsored by the Levelland Breakfast Rotary, will be held at The Wallace. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at City Bank and Prosperity Bank and online at the Wallace Theater’s website for $20 per person. Breakfast Rotary Club members will also be selling tickets. Seating is limited for the show.

Proceeds from the show fund scholarships for area youth to attend South Plains College. Cash prizes for winning contestants are $250 for first place, $150 for second place, and $100 for third place.
