The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding its regular meeting on Sept. 28.
Commissioners are expected to consider the Notice of Election for the 2026 general election and approve the continuing education for election administrator Jody Rose.
Hockley County District Attorney Donnie Yandell is expected to give a presentation regarding the software used in his office that was previously approved by commissioners.
Additionally, commissioners are expected to approve a request from the county clerk regarding proposals submitted by Kofile for the preservation of vital records and land records.
Commissioners are also expected to take action on a proposal from Teleco for phone service at the Mallet.
