As stock show season gets underway, organizations like Levelland FFA are holding chapter livestock shows to jumpstart a busy upcoming season at the majors in Texas.

The Hockley County Junior Livestock Show will get underway next Tuesday at Mallet Event Center, promising four days of youth exhibitors presenting the best goats, lambs, swine, rabbits and cattle the county has to offer.

Planning and Zoning to consider rezoning CR 838

The City of Levelland Planning and Zoning Commission will hold its regular meeting on Jan. 20 at 6 p.m.The commission is expected to consider and recommend rezoning CR 838 from SF-2 to B-2 Zone. Upon recommendation, the rezoning willbe taken to the Levelland City Council for approval.
