Bill’s Backpack of Levelland continues to take food and monetary donations to restock the pantry. For the month of March will be instant oatmeal packets.
Foods accepted all year include:individual servings of cereal, instant oatmeal packets, vienna sausages, ravioli w/pop top, SpaghettiOs w/pop top, cans of chili w/pop top, PB or cheese crackers, pop-tarts, macaroni & cheese cups, breakfast bars and pudding cups.
Drop off locations as followed First Bank Of Trust 110 Collage Avenue, City Bank 600 Collage Avenue, Collage Animal Clinic 200 Collage Ave, Chamber Of Commerce 1101 Avenue H, LISD Administration 704 11th Street, All Levelland ISD Campuses, Wanda’s Designs/Tri-care Medical 120 Clubview Drive.
Bill’s Backpacks has grown to serve approximately 180 students. Each student is given 10 items that are child friendly and ready to eat over the weekends and during school holidays To volunteer for Bill’s Backpacks, contact any of the above locations or call the Chamber at 806-894-3157.
