As a non-profit, the Blue & You hosts fundraisers that brings communities together, while funding future projects that strengthen relationships.
The funds generated from these events hosted by the organization allow for them to host other events such as the coveted Blue Santa program which allows members of law enforcement to team up with Love Levelland to provide Christmas presents for families in need.
Volunteers with Blue & You partner with law enforcement to sponsor children by picking them up in police units, escorting them to McDonald’s for breakfast, then to Walmart where they are allowed to pick out presents from their designated list.
An additional program held is Texas Night Out. In October, the Blue & You board hosts a night of fun and activities for the community.
This past year, the event included free “Walkin’ Tacos,” music, games, and drawings for prizes for local children.
The Blue & You aspires to host this event every year in a different community park to advocate for citizens and provide a night out for the community to fellowship with local law enforcement, and generally have some fun.
