Breakfast Rotary Club plans Pancake Breakfast for Home Sweet HoCo

The Levelland Breakfast Rotary Club will host its annual Pancake Breakfast which will begin the day’s activities for the first Home Sweet HoCo Festival on August 24 in downtown Levelland.

Tickets are now available for a breakfast of pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, tortillas, orange juice and coffee that will be served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the north corner of Ave. G and Houston on the courthouse square.

Tickets are $6 per person in advance and also the day of the event. Children 5 years of age and younger eat free. Street side dining will be in front of the Brasch Mitchell Building, and carry out plates will be available.

“If you are planning to come to this new downtown Levelland festival and watch the parade, join us for breakfast beforehand,” said Jimmy Stratton, Breakfast Rotary Club president. “It’s a great way to begin a great day with family and friends for this new event that celebrates Levelland and Hockley County.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Bob Murray at City Bank or Russell Riley at Prosperity Bank. Club members are also selling tickets in advance.

The breakfast functions as a primary fund-raising project for the Breakfast Rotary Club’s scholarship program. This year four local students are receiving scholarships to attend South Plains College.
