Kaylie Waggoner formerly of Morton, and Bobby Morris III of Levelland, exchanged wedding vows on December 2, 2023 at Church On The Rock, in Levelland Texas. The bride is daughter of Devin and Nicole Waggoner of Morton. She is the grandaughter of Scotty and Donna Simpson of Morton. Parents of the groom are Bobby, Jr. and Melanie Morris of Levelland.
The groom is the grandson of Bobby, Sr. and Melody Morris of Levelland, and his Paternal Great-Grandmother is Alberta Morris or Levelland..
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a strapless organza mermaid style gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, ruched bodice and ruffled skirt complimented by pearl jewelry and a cathedral length veil. that was covered in pearls. The bride wore it with honors since it belong to her mother. Pastor Jantzen Louder performed the ceremony. The church was decorated with Christmas trees, lights, garland and a hexagon arbor decorated with Christmas garland The bride walked down the aisle to “Beauty & the Beast” by the Magical Philharmonic Orchestra.
The bride and groom walked out to “Happy Ending” by the Little Mermaid Orchestra. The music for the wedding was instrumental versions from the old Disney.
The brides bouquet was exquisite, deep red roses with pops of white roses & Christmas berries. The bride tied in the grooms great grandmothers wedding rings into her bouquet as tradition. She also tied in a family heirloom diamond heart shaped necklace that was purchased in Paris, France and worn by other brides generations before her that married into the Morris family.
Maid of Honor was Morgan Waggoner, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brooklyn Waggoner, sister of the bride, Emmalin Waggoner; sister of the bride, Brytnee Bordayo, Kaylee Campbell and Bethany Morris.
The bridesmaids wore long black dresses that each had their own unique style. The brides wishes were for her bridesmaids to pick out a dress that they each felt beautiful in. The bridesmaids carried a single red rose.
Harper Nagy, daughter of Micheal and Sarah Nagy, and Avonlea Osborn, daughter of Tanner and Audra Osborn, were the two flower girls. They wore long white lace and tulle dresses that flowed behind them as they walked down the aisle to toss white rose petals.
The Best Man was Britt Morris, brother of groom. Groomsmen were Bryan Morris,brother of the groom, Jonathan Osborn, Zachary Jennings, Ben Galaviz and Billy Simpson.
The Ring Bearer was Luke Nagy, son of Micheal and Sarah Nagy. Ushers were Tanner Osborn and Jackson Osborn A rehearsal dinnerwas hosted at the Levelland Country Club Hosted by the parents of the groom. A reception dinner was held at the Mallet Event Center in Levelland.
The dinner was catered by Smokin D’s. The variety of options were favored by all the guests. They served beef and pork tacos, charcuterie boards with cheeses, crackers, fruits, almonds, chocolates and a mashed potato bar.
A dance followed after the dinner and speeches. The bride had a first dance with her father, Devin Waggoner.
The groom had a first dance with his mother, Melanie Morris. The bride and groom had their first dance as a married couple as well.
The happily married couple danced the night away with their closest friends and family.
The bride and groom table was decorated with chrystal candle stick holders, a Mr & Mrs sign built by the father of the bride, and a pearl ballon arch behind their table created by Brandi Claunch.
There were 25 guest tables that had black table cloths with an emerald green table runners down the center.
The centerpieces were flower arrangements with white roses, eucalyptus and gold Christmas berries. Next to the centerpieces were candles and a picture of the bride and groom from their engagement photo shoot.
The bride had a two tiered cake with white frosting and pearls aligning the edges. Along side of the cake were three dozen cupcakes with white frosting and glittery sprinkles to look like snow.
The groom, isn’t much of a fan of cake, so he prefered two dozen glazed donuts and two dozen chocolate donuts.
After the wedding the newly wedded couple will take a trip to Branson, Missouri for their honeymoon.
Bobby and Kaylie reside in Levelland. They plan to start their life here together and eventually start a family of their own. They are excited to see what the Lord has planned for their lives.
