Local churches are planning to celebrate Easter with Maunday Thursday, Good Friday and Easter services this week.
First Assembly of God Church, located at 709 9th Street, will be celebrating Easter Sunday, April 9, with a pancake breakfast beginning at 9:00 a.m. followed by an Easter service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available during all services.
College Avenue Baptist Church, located at 213 N. College Avenue, will host Easter Sunday, April 9, at 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
Fifth Street Baptist Church, located at 1009 5th Street, will be celebrating Easter Sunday with service beginning at 10 a.m. followed by an egg hunt in the courtyard.
First Baptist Church, located at 401 Houston Street, Levelland, Easter Sunday April 9 service will be held at 10:45 a.m.
Park Drive Baptist Church, located at 107 County Road, will host Easter Sunday, April 9, at 11 a.m..
Second Baptist Church, located at 301 Cherry Street, will be hold Easter services Sunday, April 9, at 11 a.m.
Cactus Drive Church of Christ, located at 501 Cactus Drive, will host Easter Sunday, April 9, at 10:15 a.m.
Church on the Rock, located at 1421 Cactus Drive, will hold an Easter service worship at 10:30 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 9.
For Easter Sunday, the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church will hold Sunday School beginning at 9:30 a.m. and Easter morning worship service at 10:40 a.m. Sunday.
Christ United Methodist Church, located at 1704 College Avenue, Easter Sunday Celebration beginning at 10:45 a.m. with communion and foot washing.
Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 1112 9th Street, will host an 11 a.m. Easter service Sunday.
St. Michael’s Catholic Church will hold Easter Sunday Service at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (Spanish) April 9.
St.Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran will hold an Easter Sunday service at 9:00 a.m. April 9, 10:00 a.m. brunch (please bring something) and 10:30ish Easter Egg Hunt(please bring something for kids to hunt).
FUMC Easter Sunday will begin the Easter celebration with morning worship at 10:45 a.m. and concluding with an Easter egg hunt at noon Sunday.
