Jay Rasbery and Melissa Rasbery of Shallowater are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of their son John Matthew Rasberry to Reagan Sheree Barrera, daughter of Jace and Shawna Mulloy of Levelland and Sundi and the late David Barrera of Idalou. She is the granddaughter of the late Leonel Barrera Sr. and the late Lydia Barrera of Whitharral, and Kay and the late Michael Caroland of Levelland.
The bride elect is a 2019 graduate of LevellandLevelland High School, she completed the EMT program at SPC in 2022. She then went on to complete the Advanced EMT program in 2023. She is currently working towards becoming a Paramedic and will graduate from the SPC Paramedic program in May of 2024. She is currently employed by UMC as an AEMT.
The prospective groom graduated from Shallowater high school in 2015. He graduated in 2019 from Schreiner University with a Bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in humanities. He then went on to graduate from TTUHSC in 2022 with a Master's degree in Biotechnology. He is currently employed at TTU as a Research Administrator and UMC as a medical scribe.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on May 18, 2024, at the Horsehoe Event Center in Lubbock.
