Roughneck Theatre holiday play entitled “10 Ways to Survive the Holidays”

The holidays are the most joyful time of the year....right? Some may beg to differ as can be seen by the 2 narrators in the story, “10 Ways to Survive the Holidays.” The players in this show provide glimpses into 10 hilarious, holiday scenarios and let the audience be the judge as to whether the holiday season is happy or horrendous!

Roughneck Theatre is composed of one-act play and theatre students at Sundown High School and is directed by Jonna Evans, Martha Buchanan, and Ryder Stanley. Cast includes: Ryder Stanley, Emily Rodgers, Riley Driver, Easton Smith, Roxanna Mendoza, Peyton Richardson, Koii Scott, Cooper Rogers, Kaytlin Clausen, Toby Lopez, Carrigan Dietz, Janessa Lopez, Jaydith Shelton, Rolando Rivera, Watson Evans, Caleb Clausen, Jocelynn Escobar, Mariah Stephens, Silverina Pando, Lincoln Keesler, Corey Pormanes, Meghan Stephens, and Alana Ledesma. Crew consists of: Katy Townsend, Jlyssa Aleman, Aliyah Martinez, Michaela Brattain, Serenity Mulloy, and Dave Pormanes.

Performances are Saturday, December 16, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Sundown High School Auditorium, 605 W. Sixth Street.

Tickets are $5.00 (children 4 and under are free) and are available at the door and on the school’s website at https:// www.sundownisd.com/page/ tickets.

There will be a toy drop off in the theater foyer and all are welcome to bring a toy to be donated to local children in need this holiday season.
