The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, November 9 beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the administration building.
Following the approval of minutes from the prior monthly meeting, the agenda items slated for the meeting are as follows: The Vice President for Academic Affairs will present the Fall 2023 Retirees; The Vice President for Student Affairs will provide the Fall Eight-Week Census Numbers; The Vice President for Business Affairs will provide a Tax Office Report and Financial Reports; The Vice President for Institutional Advancement will provide a South Plains College Institutional Plan; and
The President’s Report will include a Construction Report, resolution to approve votes for the Hockley County Appraisal District Board of Directors, resolution to approve the Federal Real Property Assistance Program Applications, designate an SPC Research Security Officer in Accordance with SB1565, consider canceling the regular meeting on December 14 and discuss upcoming events such as the Christmas Tree Lighting Thursday, November 30 at 6 p.m., Board of Regents Christmas Dinner Tuesday, December 12 at 6 p.m., Fall Retirement Reception Thursday, December 14 at 10 a.m. and the Fall 2023 Commencement Friday, December 15 at 10:30 a.m.
