After 10 years of service to Christ United Methodist Church as pastor, Reverend Dennis L. Cates has decided to retire; he and his wife Sue have given loving and active service to the church and to the community and will be missed.
As of July 1, Reverend Ruby Moultrie became the pastor at Christ UMC, to the joy of the members of the church .She is “coming home” to Levelland, having lived here and served here through the years, as voice instructor and choir director at the South Plains College, as choir director at First United Methodist Church while she was still teaching at SPC, and than later at First UMC as pastor.
The members of Christ UMC invite everyone to join us in welcoming Pastor Ruby Moultrie to Levelland and to join us for services.
