Teen songwriters, Cider Wave to perform July 10

Students from South Plains College’s summer Songwriting Class will perform in the concert, A Celebration of New Music, alongside the band Cider Wave at 7 p.m. on July 10 at the Tom T. Hall Production Studio in the Creative Arts Building on the Levelland campus.

VOICES Coalition receives grant for backpack giveaway

The Hockley County VOICES Coalition has received a $3,275 grant from the Community Foundation of West Texas to fund the Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.VOICES provides backpacks of school supplies to students in Hockley County who participate.

To me it's important to give to the church so that the elders and the pastoral care worker could provide Vacation Bible school in the summer for children.The funding also goes to books that are donated to the church so that the people can borrow books to read that have a lot to do with Christianity.
