Wallace Theater awarded NEA grant

The Wallace Theater has announced it has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for a Grants for Arts Projects award of $50,000.This grant will support Arts Education for the Wallace Theater and partnering schools and arts organizations.

SPC to host 2024 Scholarship Scramble

South Plains College’s annual Scholarship Scramble—a golf tournament that supports student scholarships at SPC—will take place on June 17 at the Rawls Course at 3720 4th St. in Lubbock.The tournament is a fourperson scramble shotgun start event that welcomes men’s, women’s and mixed teams.

She was one row over from me at the Food Fair, and I couldn't help but see she was wearing a tshirt with a political slogan.To make her views even more explicit, she was talking (pretty loudly) on her phone and energetically stating her beliefs and her disdain for those who don't share them.
