City of Sundown testing emergency sirens Apr.10

The City of Sundown will be conducting its emergency notification system test (sirens) on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 1:30 a.m. The siren will cycle through several times from 11:30 a.m. - p.m.

Community Easter egg hunt

On Saturday, March 30, Fifth Street Baptist Church park will be having a community Easter Egg Hunt for children at 1009 5th St.There will be free food they will have hotdogs, drinks, chips and dessert.

The Easter Bunny is already out leaving Easter eggs for the children to hunt. This past Saturday he was at the Levelland City Park. The City of Levelland held an event for children where they could hunt eggs and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny.
