Bill’s Backpack donations for Sept.

Bill’s Backpack of Levelland continues to take food and monetary donations For the month of September will be Pop-Tarts. Foods accepted all year include : Pop-Tarts, macaroni &cheese cups, breakfast bars and Pudding cups.

Lamb County Electric plans for 85th Annual Meeting

In years past, during the third week in September, the Lamb County Ag Center has served as the event location for Lamb County Electric Cooperative’s Annual Meeting. However, it is undergoing renovations, and has been closed to the public since July.

Texas employment reaches historic highs

After continued growth through the month of August, Texas has once again set new records for the number of jobs, number of people employed, and size of the civilian labor force.

LISD announces campus closures Monday Sept. 18

Levelland ISD reminders parents that all campuses will be closed Monday, September 18. Levelland ISD has announced that all classes have been canceled for Monday for teacher work day. All campuses will reopen at regular time tuesday, September 19.
