The Hockley County Commissioner’s Court will hold its regular meeting on June 15 at 9 a.m.
Commissioners are expected to consider and take necessary action to approve the employee insurance with Texas Association of Counties.
Commissioners are also expected to take action to authorize the Hockley County elections administrator to purchase 16 poll pads and necessary supplies through Tenex Solutions for replacement 16 older generation poll pads as well as a DS 300 Precinct Scanner through the 2025 HAVA Election Security Grant.
A d d i t i o n a l l y , commissioners are expected to take action to approve relocating the Public Assistance Officer and Veterans Assistance Office to 634 Ave. H, Ste 104, also known as 911 Austin St.
Other agenda items for consideration and action include approving the Plat for Gustavo Estates, Lots 136, located in Precinct 1, as well as approving Ad Valorem tax refunds.
Other business for consideration is the Continuation Certificate issued for Gina Sisk, clerk, Justice of the Peace Pct. 5 and Jody Rose, elections administrator.
Commissioners are expected to approve monthly reports as submitted by the district clerk, county clerk and Justice of the Peace for all precincts.
Reports are expected for the 2026 fire runs as submitted by the City of Levelland.
