...Zion Chosen...

Remember in David’s favor, All the hardships that he endured; But You, O Lord, had not ignored All the afflictions that out-poured.

How he swore to You and had vowed, Unto You as the Mighty One; Looking up I had seen a cloud, That started to cover the sun. I won’t enter into my house, Nor will I get into my bed; The tabernacle where my spouse, Has gone to where my Savior bled.

I will not give sleep to my eyes, Nor will slumber to my eyelids; As the tears flowing as my cries. Of the sorrow that it forbids.

Until I find a place for You, Dwelling place for the Almighty; I will continue to pursue, Cleansing all my iniquity.

I found in the fields of a wood, For constructing a dwelling place; To worship You perfectly could, At Your footstool blessing your grace.
