Anton Cemetery Association to hold lunch fundraiser Oct. 12

Farmers caught in perfect storm of economic challenges

Farmers, particularly those growing grain crops, are struggling economically due to a number of key challenges. Sam Kieffer, vice president of Public Policy for the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), said this is a rare intersection of high expenses and low income.

MOSAIC’S NEW HOME-- Levelland ISD on Thursday moved the 1975 Lobo mosaic on Thursday. It now has a new home after being mounted at the Levelland ISD Central Office on 704 11th St. Joining LISD administration for the relocation were 1975 juniors Margarett Dailey-Locket and Rhonda Bradley. LISD trustees consider reports, consent items

The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees met for their regular meeting on Sept. 26 to hear reports, approve several consent items and hear a presentation from the booster club.
