Governor Abbott announces disaster unemployment extension for flood victims

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott announced today that The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has received federal approval to extend the deadline for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) applications relating to severe flooding that occurred over Fourth of July weekend.
