The City of Levelland along with Parkhill and MH Civil Construction representatives held a groundbreaking at the site of the new wastewater treatment plant Monday afternoon. The new plant will be adajcent from the current plants infrastructure.
AQUATIC CENTER UPDATE - Construction crews have begun the demolition of the interior of the Natatorium or newly named Aquatic Center. The building is currently fenced off to the public while construction is on going. SPC President Dr. Robin Satterwhite informed the Board of Regents during their monthly meeting this month that progress has been steady with no concerns reported. (Staff photo by Dom Puente)

SPC Regents approve electrical replacement project

Construction for the Aquatic Center at South Plains College continues while the Board of Regents also approved an electrical replacement project for the women’s complex.SPC President Dr. Robin Satterwhite informed the Regents that the demolition within the Aquatic Center has begun.

Amateur radio operators look toward “HAM” Radio Day

Amateur radio operators or enthusiasts within the community can look forward to ARRL Field Day from June 28-29.For surrounding community members who are interested in learning more about amateur radio, they can visit the Levelland Fire Station from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
