The Department of Transportation (TxDOT) provides tips for common scenarios on the roadways.For instance, Texas has 76 rest stops spread across 80,000 miles of roadways. Drivers are encouraged to take 15 - 20 minute breaks for every two hours spent driving.

Levelland-Hockley County Emergency Management will be sending notification texts when the city establishes a set schedule for Red Flour Beetle spraying.Additionally, emergency management will be updating the city Facebook page and website with the schedule.
