LANDFILL PIT PROJECT COMPLETED - The City of Levelland has announced that the Solid Waste Landfill Type IV Cell 3 Construction Project including alternates has been completed. The bid for the project was awarded to DE Rice Construction for $591,574.93 and was unanimously approved by the Levelland City Council. TAC RECOGNITION - Pictured is Hockley County Judge Sharla Baldridge (left) receiving her award which is given to county judges who demonstrate a commitment to judicial excellence by surpassing the state’s minimum education requirements. Judge Baldridge was recognized as a Fellow of the Texas Judicial Academy by the Texas Association of Counties (TAC).
A WARM WELCOME - Anew billboard is up near W. Highway 114. The Levelland Chamber of Commerce shared that the new billboard is courtesy of Roger Lindsey and his team, the billboard was refurbished with new paint on the signs frame and poles. Also, Sign Design provided the artwork for the front and back of the billboard.
