SPC Songwriter Competition deadline Mar. 3

For aspiring songwriters in the West Texas area, South Plains College’s Creative Arts Department will host its thirdannual Songwriter Competition.The event will begin at 7 p.m. on April 3 at the Tom T. Hall Studio in the Creative Arts Building on the Levelland campus.

City of Levelland joins case resolution campaign

The City of Levelland has announced a Texas Court Case Resolution Campaign set for March 3 through March 7.Law enforcement agencies and courts statewide are participating in the 2025 Texas Court Case Resolution Campaign.

GRAND OPENING RUSH - Wendy’s located at 301 College Avenue officially opened Monday at 11 a.m. With the heavy amount of traffic entering and leaving the restaurant, community members are encouraged to be vigilant of possible vehicles in the right lane of College Avenue waiting to enter the parking lot. LMS SPELLING BEE WINNERS - Levelland Middle School started off the campus Spelling Bees this past Tuesday. The Spelling Bee started with 21 spellers and went for twelve rounds before Caleb Willey won the Bee spelling, "television." Raeleigh Campos was the runner-up in the Bee. Both of these students will compete again on March 10th at LMS in the LISD District Bee.
