Secretary of State shares active business entries

Secretary of State Jane Nelson announced that Texas has 2,964,180 million active business entities. That is a growth of 35,492 since the beginning of the year.The total number includes both businesses incorporated in Texas and out-of-state entities conducting business in the Lone Star State.

Hockley Commissioners’ approve HCSO Axon purchase

The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court held a regular meeting Monday with the group approving items submitted by the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and the 286th District Attorney’s Office.

Council approves special election second reading
