Levelland Parks Department prepares second sled hill event

FIGHTING EARLY MORNING FIRE - Around 1:40 p.m., the Levelland Fire Department responded to a report of a backyard fire in the 1400 block of Austin. While enroute, dispatch advised the fire had spread to a nearby structure. As of 7:30 a.m., crews continued to battle a small, two-story apartment-style structure fire with assistance from the Sundown VFD, Whiteface VFD, Morton VFD and West Carlisle VFD.
