Cochran County Stock Show announced, begins January 8

The Cochran County Stock Show will be held Wednesday, January 8 and conclude Saturday, January 11.Barn set up will begin January 5 at 2 p.m.On Wednesday, January 8, the lamb weigh-ins will begin at 4 p.m. followed but the goat weighins after.

Forecasted winter weather prompts snow equipment testing

The City of Levelland Parks Department spent a portion of Thursday testing their snow making equipment with the hope of next week’s forecasted weather.Dustin Reichelt, director of parks and cemetery for the city, said there are a couple of factors that go into making a successful sled hill.
