Texas Comptroller announces local sales tax allocations

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar will distribute $1.2 billion in local sales tax allocations for December, which is a 6.8% increase from December 2023’s total allocations.Cities received $720.3 million in allocations for a 5.7% increase from December 2023. It is a 1.9% year-to-date increase.
