Ancient Earth Art Gallery now open

Ancient Earth Art Gallery which is owned and operated by Helene Griffith recently opened as of August 10 and is located at 608 Avenue H in downtown Levelland.Originally form New York, Griffith found herself living in Canada for 20 years while running an art school.

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) will add new apprenticeship opportunities with $8,812,636 million in grant funding awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).

LISD School Board swears in Kay Franklin

The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees met in a regular session Tuesday evening focusing on the upcoming budget and tax rate along with repairs and executive action.Kicking off the meeting, Kay Franklin was sworn in as the newest member of the Board.

Levelland City Council approves tax rate ceiling

As budgets continue to be sorted out for taxing entities, the Levelland City Council proposed a tax rate ceiling of $0.55000 while the group moves forward in the process of approving a budget and tax rate for the next fiscal year.
