7/13/2024 – DISPATCHED 5:15 P.M. – CLEARED 5:47 P.M. LEVELLAND The LFD was notified of a downed power line in an alleyway in the1200 block of Denver Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel discovered the line was a communication line and not a power line.

HHSC recieves federal approval for SNAP replacement benefits following Hurricane Beryl

Governor Greg Abbott announced Monday that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has received federal approval to automatically provide replacement benefits for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients in 18 counties impacted by Hurricane Beryl.
