Cleaning initiative deadline set March 24

The City of Levelland and Keep Levelland Beautiful are reminding community members that the deadline to utilize the disposal contianers throughout the city is March 24.The City of Levelland and KLB are working together for the “2024 Levelland Go CLEAN” initiative held that began March 4.

Levelland Main Street Food Truck Day returns March 21

The Levelland Main Street Program will be bringing back Food & Food Truck Day March 21, beginning at 11 a.m. in downtown Levelland.An event held every third Thursday of the month, food trucks will be surrounding the Hockley County Courthouse.

Levelland Council approves bids, Main Street resolution

The Levelland City Council held a regular meeting Monday evening where the group heard a Red Flour Beetle Update and approved various items.City Manager James Fisher began the meeting by updating the council regarding the Red Flour Beetle infestation in the Kauffman Addition.

Critical fire conditions continue

Critical fire weather conditions were expected to be widespread in the Texas Panhandle through the end of last weak near Amarillo, Borger, Canadian, Childress, Lubbock, Pampa and Perryton.

TDLR looks toward public input, ideas
