Hockley County Tax Assessor Debra Bramlett announces retirement

At the culmination of her term in January, Debra Bramlett will be retiring from her position of Hockley County Tax Assessor-Collector. Starting her career with Hockley County in 1990, she was considered part time for her first three years on staff.

Crystal M. Forster has formally announce her candidacy for the Hockley County Tax Assessor Collector Position. With 17 years of actual tax office experience, she is currently a Senior Clerk in the Lubbock County Tax Office.

Texas Tuition Promise Fund undergrad general enrollment program sets deadline February 29

Texas families can lock in the cost of undergraduate resident tuition and schoolwide, required fees at Texas public colleges and universities by enrolling their children in the tax-advantaged Texas Tuition Promise Fund before the close of the current general enrollment period on Feb. 29.
