STAFF CELEBRATION - the City of Levelland recently held their 53rd Annual Employee Appreciation Banquet November 16, at the Mallet Event Center. City Manager James Fisher spoke to the banquet attendees and shared his goals for the staff moving forward in hopes of serving the Levelland community to the best of their ability. FEED LEVELLAND - On Saturday November 4, St. Paul Lutheran Church held there annual Feed Levelland event to raise money for various organizations that help feed insecure people in Hockley county . They raised $7,400 from 355 attendees. They donated $1,504 each went to the Hockley County Meals On Wheels, Bill’s Back Packs, SPC Food Box, Hockley County Food Box and South Plains Food Bank. REGION CHOIR MEMBERS - Levelland Middle School Choir students Alberto Barrera, M.J. Niederhauesr, Paula Castellanos and Zaraline Rodriguez sang in the middle School Region Choir last week competed in the Region Contest last week . Creative use for pumpkins this fall
CAMP CAPITOL: Capitol Elementary held their Camp Capitol Parent Event last week. It was a time for families to learn together through different activites. Capitol Students and parents were able to participate in reading, tents, math, engineering, logic, design, art, games, the Book Fair, a campfire, and hotdogs.
