11/13/2023 – ANTON Deputies with the HCSO responded to Anton ISD in reference to a forgery. A report for Forgery Financial Instrument was made. 11/11/2023 – ANTON Deputies with the HCSO were dispatched to the 600 block of Duke Street in reference to an assault.

Levelland Fire Report

11/15/2023 – DISPATCHED 8:48 A.M. – CLEARED 9:03 A.M. –LEVELLAND Levelland EMS requested the assistance of the LFD at a residence within the 900 block of Avenue E in reference to forcing a door open. Upon arrival, no one was located at the residence.

Practice safety tips throughout holiday season

Levelland Police Chief Albert Garcia is encouraging the Hockley County community to practice safety methods during the holiday season. “One of the biggest things people can do is be drive safely as the holiday season means traveling on roads,” said Garcia.

SPC Fitness Court open

South Plains College announced that the SPC Judy Bryant Fitness Court is now open. The official dedication and ribbon cutting will be in the spring after the overhead structure is completed, but it is currently open around the clock for the entire Levelland community.

City of Levelland issues sign reminder

The City of Levelland and Code Enforcement Department recently issued a message for the public regarding signs and its regulations. The city ordinances and codes are minimum standards designed to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the residents and your neighborhood.
