NEW ELECTIONS OFFICE - The Hockley County Elections office held its grand opening on Monday. The new office is located at 710 Ave. H across the street from the office and offers many more voting booths, storage and space for upcoming elections. Elections administrator Jody Rose offered tours of the new office. Hockley County commissioners and County Judge Sharla Baldridge attended the opening, along with Rose and the elections staff.
