June 119:02 p.m. - Officers dispatched to the 100 block of South College Ave. regarding a man with a knife. Upon arrival, officers were advised the man had left the scene in his vehicle. The vehicle was found, and a traffic stop was conducted. Two arrests were made.June 129:22 a.m.

Smyer aldermen special meeting set for Jun 22

The City of Smyer Aldermen will be holding a special meeting on June 22 at the Smyer Senior Citizen’s Building.Aldermen are expected to take necessary action on building permits and approve the financial report from June 9.A discussion is on the agenda regarding the Smyer Volunteer Fire Department.

TDA expands Family Land Heritage program
