SPC to offer Spring 2026 quilting orientation class

South Plains College will offer a quilting orientation class at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 in Room 121 of the Technical Arts Building on the Levelland campus. During orientation night, a few quilts will be available for viewing.Weekly afternoon and evening classes will be available starting Feb. 9.

The Levelland city council met on Monday for both a regular and public hearing.Prior to the meetings, Levelland Police Department and Levelland Fire Department had badge pinning ceremonies for one police officer and three firefighters.
