Levelland Powerlifting was well represented this past Friday in the 2025 THSWPA (Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association) 4A Division 2 Championship Final in Edinburg. Naylea Saucedo competed in the 242-plus weight class, earning fourth place. Saucedo would total 970 lbs. and post a 395 lb. squat, 210 lb. bench press and a 365 lb. deadlift. Emmina Collins competed in the 220 lb. weight class, earning fourth place. Collins would total 945 lbs. and post a 425 lb. squat, 220 lb. bench press and a 300 lb. deadlift. Jac’Lynn Cardenas would place 16th in the 181 lb. weight class. Cardenas would total 740 lbs. and post a 305 lb. squat, 170 lb. bench press and a 265 lb. deadlift.
