Levelland Lobo baseball concluded their season with backto- back losses in the bi-district round of playoffs against the Brock Eagles this past weekend. The Lobos would meet the Eagles in Colorado City for a best of three series. Levelland would drop game one, 9-0, and be dealt their second loss, 13-3.
In game one, Levelland would not score a run and only had two hits. Brock would score nine runs on 11 hits.
Rance Massey would get the start and the loss for Levelland throwing five and a third. Massey would allow seven runs, five earned on eight hits, two walks and one strikeout.
Kain Rice would throw an inning and two thirds in relief. Rice would allow two earned runs on three hits.
In game two, Levelland would score the first run in the game, but Brock would finish the game with a sweep of the Lobos.
Levelland would score three runs on six hits and would commit two errors, while Brock would score 13 runs on 16 hits and would commit two errors.
Noah Tienda got the start and the loss for Levelland throwing five complete innings. Tienda would allow 11 runs, six earned on 13 hits, and two walks. Ian Rivera would throw relief for the Lobo, but would not record an out allowing two earned runs on three hits, and two walks.
