AREA CHAMPIONS - The Ropes Eagles were crowned Area Champions last weekend after defeating the West Texas Comanches in a best of three sweep. The Eagles took game one, 11-1, and took game two with a 3-0 score. The Eagles advanced to the Regional Semi-Final round to take on the Stamford Bulldogs in a best of three series in Snyder May 15 -17. The results of the series will be in Wednesday’s issue (May 21).
