Following the win against Nazareth, Levelland Head Baseball Coach Chris Portwood reflected on the team’s performance over the break.
“I’m proud of how our guys competed over Spring Break. We played with energy, executed in key moments and showed a lot of toughness,” Coach Portwood said. “Getting two wins this week says a lot about the direction we’re heading as a team. I hope our boys stay hungry and keep coming.”
The pair of wins improves the Lobos to 9-11 overall and 1-2 in district play, which puts them fifth in the 4A District 5 baseball standings.
They’ll return to play early in the week against Big Spring before hosting Frenship Memorial on Friday at 7 p.m.
