The Levelland City Council will be holding two meetings on June 15 at city hall.
The first special session meeting will be at 5 p.m. when the council will go into executive session.
The regular meeting will start at 6 p.m. and begin with a discussion on the special events and public facilities reservation policies.
A public hearing is scheduled to consider and take action on Ordinance 1118 to revise the city’s Code of Ordinances to adopt the International Code Council and National Storm Shelter Associations standard for the design and construction of storm shelters on first reading.
The council is also set to consider and take necessary action on Ordinance 1117 amending requirements for permits for mobile food vendors on first reading.
Concerning an engagement letter with Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert & Moss, the council is expected to consider and take action on audit services for the City of Levelland.
A discussion is expected concerning the city council calendar for budget work sessions and city council meetings.
A city manager’s report for staff and project updates, recognitions and items of community interest is also scheduled to be presented.
