LISD to hold regular school board meeting June 18

    The Levelland school board will be holding its regular meeting on June 18 at 6 p.m.

    Board members are expected to hold a closed session at the beginning of the meeting regarding a parent/ complainant grievance appeal notice, followed by an open session on the issue.

    The consent agenda is expected to include the Board Ethics, Statement, board operating procedures, TASB Policy Update 127 and an amendment to the District of Innovation Plan.

    Reports are expected on the recent parent/staff survey, Safety and Security report which includes district vulnerability, the Texas School Safety Center Three-Year Audit, and the quarterly reports.

    Other discussions and presentations are expected on the budget parameters, academic report, superintendent report and new hires.

    The board is expected to go into executive sessions to deliberate guardian program members, personnel and superintendent evaluation documentation and evidence.
