Texas Tech University announced its fall 2026 enrollment had officially reached 46,296.
The press release states that the official count builds on the enrollment milestone Texas Tech announced on the first day of classes, when the university reported more than 45,000 students. Enrollment has continued to increase since the opening week of the semester.
TTU also welcomed a record 9,532 first-timein- college students this fall. The population has increased by almost 40% (39.88%) since 2024, reflecting continued growth in the university’s incoming classes. Undergraduate enrollment has increased by 4,916 students, or 15%, during the same period.
